About the Author

 

Michelle Wilson was born on the campus of Tuskegee Institute, now Tuskegee University at John Andrews Memorial Hospital. Her early childhood years were in Auburn, Alabama. Later, she and her mother moved to Columbus, Georgia.

She is an inspiring educator with 25 plus years in the classroom. She is a writer, and storyteller, dedicated to empowering others through words and wisdom. With a passion for uplifting voices and celebrating everyday moments of growth, Michelle brings warmth, authenticity, and purpose to her work. Her writing reflects her belief that stories have the power to heal, teach, and connect people across generations.

When she isn’t writing, Michelle enjoys mentoring, exploring creative projects, speaking to groups, and spending time in her faith, with her family, and beloved dogs Lola and Paris. Known for her compassion and leadership, she continues to make a lasting impact both in the library, classrooms, and beyond. She credits her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Without Him, she can’t do anything!
